You can do it!

Thanks to everyone for your good wishes and prayers.
So, yeah, like my husband mentioned, we are pregnant! We were very surprised at God's plan, but now we are starting to see how He has everything figured out for us. We are SO excited and happy. I can't believe I have someone inside of me growing every second.
I've been feeling the famous morning sickness ALL DAY, why didn't anyone tell me it was not just in the morning?? Oh well, I'm getting used to it. My husband is being really helpful reminding me to eat something before I even get out of bed to avoid feeling nausea. I don't want to complain because all this nausea means that the baby is still doing it's thing inside of me, and that's what we want! "You can do it!", I tell him/her as much as I can.

I have Spring Break this week, so I'm already enjoying it a lot. Resting feels good!

So this was my update!

YAY! I'm pregnant!!!!!! =)

Congratulations! I'm so happy for the two of you - you seem like such a lovely Catholic couple!

May I please ask for prayers? My name is Maria, I'm 41, and also newly married (6/6/07). My husband and I would dearly love to have a child. Unfortanately I have a history of ovarian cysts. I just had surgery on 2/12/08 and now I have been diagnosed with severe endometriosis and infertility. I am now trying to cope with this new diagnosis, pray, and accept God's will on this. It isn't easy. And I know we are not the only couple with problems trying to concieve.

Isn't it funny though that I have been a teacher at a daycare for almost twenty years, adore children, always dreamed of being a wife and mother, and now they tell me I have this endometriosis and infertility for years but never knew until last month???

One thing that helps me is offering up this suffering for others so that they can concieve like for that very sweet Catholic couple Devin and Katie. I read their blog too.

Roxanne and Gerarldo and Devin and Katie, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am praying for you.

Again, congratulations!! You are so blessed!!

May God Bless you.

Hi Maria,

Congratulations to you and your husband on your recent marriage - only three days before ours! We hope married life has been as beautiful for you as it has been for us the last nine months.

Thank you so much for the kind words as well. God works in mysterious ways, and surely he has a plan for your family as well. Be assured that you are in our prayers.

In Christ,

Gerardo and Roxy
